Adventure Survival Tournament BACK Battle your way through the streets collecting new weapons and power-ups on the way as you try and rid the underground of the oposing Reds. It is important that you visit the Dojo before you attempt this mission. See how long you can hold out in the survival arena as a new opponent is added every 2 seconds. Plenty of powerups to help you out. Test your nerves as you fight your way through different areas with increasingly more opponents. Here you will learn the basic fighting skills you will need to see you through the rest of the game.This section will be your intercom for the game, so watch out for incoming messages. NEXT NEXT 1/10 We'll start with the basics: movement. Use the left and right buttons to walk left and right, and hold down shift to run. To jump, press up and to crouch, press down. 2/10 Now for some basic attacks, kicking and punching. To kick, press X, and to punch, press Z. Test them out on the punch bag to the left. 3/10 Once you've mastered that, try out some more advanced attacks. To do a jump attack, jump and hit X or Z to perform a jump kick. You can also kick and punch while crouching, by holding "Down" and pressing Z or X. 4/10 You might have noticed that when attacking the punching bag, the meter in the bottom left corner increases. This is your adrenaline meter. The more hits to an enemy you make in a short amount of time, the higher it gets. . . 5/10 . . .and when "Special!" appears, the power of your attacks increase. You can perform different and more powerful moves by hitting the normal punch and kick keys, and you will stay in special mode until the bar falls below 50% full. 6/10 As well as these attacks, you will also come across various weapons throughout the game. Pick up the nunchucks and hit X and Z to use them. With power-ups, you only have a certain number of hits, so make the most of them. 7/10 Now practice using grenades.Pick them up and use the mouse to set the path of the trajectory, then press Z or X to throw it.When you've had enough practice, move on. 8/10 Now get used to using mines.Pick up the mine and set it by pressing Z. Remember to be careful where you set it. You can detonate it by pressing the space bar or luring an enemy into it. 9/10 Now you've learnt the controls, test your reflexes on the spinning poles to the right by ducking and jumping. The shadows on the floor may help you. Also, press enter to make an enemy appear to try out some moves. 10/10 Practise your skills until you think you're ready and then start the game. . . Pick up the Uzi and take them out. Now blast through the entrance with the mine. Pick it up and set it near the fence by pressing Z. Stand back and hit the space bar to detonate it . . . Ok, they know your here. Shut off the alarm before any more reds get here by using the chainsaw to cut the power to the alarm. Hit the switch to open the gate before the news spreads of your presence. Go up to the gate latch and hit Space bar then get in and hope not too many reds are waiting. . . COM - SEC Now try and make it past Second-level security. Try and go unnoticed, or we'll have a situation on our hands . . . Mama WITHOUT setting off the alarm! Run for it! Here they come . . . A little assistance . . . This should help . . . These guys are a little more nasty. Take them out and get the hell out of there. Good job. Now open the door to the Com-Sec and take out communications. This should disrupt enemy mobility for a while. Comm Sec LEVEL 3 ACCESS REQUIRED This is the communications section. Get to the main-frame and take out the central computer to disrupt enemy mobility. Maximum stealth will be needed here. Use the ninja stars, this sould cause minimal disturbance. They've called for backup, find and hit the switch to close the door Good. Now hit the round push-switch to the right.This should open the gate to the main-frame area. That didnt work . . . pick up the mine and set it neer the big control unit to the left. Stand back and hit the space bar to blow it. That might help. Ok, now hit the button. Good. Nearly there, just take out the guards. Be careful on the big one. Good. Pick up the key card that the big guy dropped. This will give access to the mainframe on the left. Go up to it and hit space bar to shut it down. Good job. Communications are now out. Hit the switch by the exit to the right and get the hell out of there. CORE COM-LINK EXIT> We're nearly at the core of the Reds' facility. Though the main communications section is down, security will still be pretty tight with independant alarm units like the one ahead. Use the grenade to clear the way ahead and destroy the power to the spotlight alarm.Be careful not to set it off Good. Now hit the yellow button by the ledge, this should extend the bridge The controls on the other side of the gap, throw a grenade over and blow out the terminal. Now try the button again Just take out these guards and hit the level to the left of the door. Get in and plant the EM bomb. OMFG It was a trap! Ok, use this pole to break into the control panel on the wall to the left, this is a com link that is connected indirectly to the core mainframe OK now press the space bar to set the EM charge on the pannel. When it blows, it should hit the core. . . Yes! Now set the mine by the barrels on the right and blow open the exit, then get the hell out. Go! Get out! 00: 30 00
